UHF (MUOS) SATCOM Vehicle Antenna
UHF243380S
The UHF243380S is a fully ruggedized UHF SATCOM vehicle antenna for MUOS and legacy UFO waveforms.
It covers the frequency range 243-380 MHz, optimized for the MUOS frequency bands 300-320/360-380 MHz, as well as the legacy UFO waveforms 292-318/243-270 MHz. The antenna has superior gain at low elevation angles with minimal VSWR losses. It is fully ruggedized antenna for use on all land based and marine platforms, as well as static installations. The removable radiating element allows for a large selection of mounting base options including NATO 4-hole spring or rigid, as well as built-in GPS.
HF Vehicle Loop Antenna
HF230L-OTM
The HF230L-OTM is a compact HF loop antenna for vehicular platforms requiring On-The-Move (OTM) communications over the 1.6-30 MHz frequency range.
It is designed to provide superior Near Vertical Incident Skywave (NVIS) performance at distances from 0 to 500 km, and allows continuous communications in ground-wave, NVIS and skywave applications. The HF230L-OTM is a direct replacement for existing whip antennas and uses the same 4-hole NATO base support. The replacement of the whip by the HF230L-OTM takes just a few minutes and requires no special installation equipment or changes to the structure of the vehicle. This compact antenna is recommended for multiple antenna platforms, both because of its small size and because it reduces co-site interference with all VHF and UHF whip antennas. The HF230L-OTM has been designed to give superior reliability and easier installation at a far lower cost compared to other HF NVIS antennas.
Low Profile VHF Vehicle Antenna
VHF3088LP (VHF30108LP)
VHF3088LP is a low visual profile VHF vehicle antenna for use on all in-service military platforms. The antenna operates over the full 30-88 MHz band with no tuning required. A 30-108MHz version is also available. The antenna is available with EMP protection on the 50 ohm side and high voltage protection. A full range of spring and tilt base options are available with built-in GPS.
Dual-Band Dual-Dipole VHF/UHF Antenna
VHF30512DB-DD
Setting a new standard for platform independent wideband communication, the VHF30512DB-DD combines two independent dipole antennas to offer a complete VHF/UHF solution.
Providing consistent communication performance across both the 30-88 MHz and 225-512 bands, the antenna is suitable for use on all modern in-service military platforms, including armoured or soft skin, metal chassis or composite, wheeled or tracked. Because the antenna does not rely on any monopole element it does not require a ground plane.
A wide range of bases are available to suit different NATO mounting configurations. Antenna bases can be provided with optional integrated GNSS antennas such as GPS L1-GALILEO E1 or GPS L1-L2.
VHF/UHF Broadband Vehicle Antenna
VHF30512CEF
The VHF30512CEF is an ultra wideband vehicle antenna designed for use on all modern in-service military platforms, including armored or soft skin, metal chassis or composite, wheeled or tracked. The novel design gives it an excellent gain and radiation pattern across the whole 30-512 MHz frequency range. The antenna needs no adjustment for different frequencies as all the tuning elements are within the whip. Bases are available to suit different mounting configurations with optional dual feed connectors and L1 & L1/L2 GPS. Optional EMP protection in the base is also available.
Wide-band LTE Antenna
UHF727VM Series
The UHF727VM series of antennas cover multiple LTE bands over the frequency range 700-2700 MHz. The antenna is a single connector, fully ruggedised, wideband dipole antenna suitable for all in-service platforms, masts or permanent installations. It is available with a range of mounting base options including NATO 4-hole spring and rigid, mast mount, L1 and L1/L2 GPS.

The antenna has three ports operating over the 30-88MHz, 225-450MHz and 1200-2600MHz frequency bands. The UHF and L-S band dipoles are positions high in the antenna radiating element for maximum range. Optional L1/L2 GPS can be supplied built into the NATO 4-hole spring base.
Tri-Band Tripod Assembly
VHF302600TB
The VHF302600TB Tripod Assembly is used to elevate the VHF302600TB antenna onto a mast such as the Comrod AMX85. The complete Elevated Tri-band Antenna and Mast System (ETAMS) is a direct replacement for the legacy OE-254 with extended frequency capability to support modern networking waveforms.
Elavated Tri-band Antenna Mast System (ETAMS)
Increase Your Range With An Elevated Tri-band Antenna
COMROD’s ETAMS™ is an agile and man portable system that is smaller, lighter and easier to deploy than legacy systems while also adding state-of-the-art multi-band antenna technology that will extend your network using modern software defined radios. ETAMS™ was designed with the operator in mind by combining proven antenna technology with a high-quality mast system that is comprised of lightweight, rugged materials and intuitive assembly instructions.
Comrod Automatic Payload Alignment Systems (CAPAS)
Comrod Automatic Payload Alignment Systems are designed to quickly and precisely elevate and direct a payload to the correct height and optimal direction. Single rotator, dual rotator and rotator/tilter systems enable quick and effective deployment of communication or sensor assets without exposing personnel to unnecessary danger. The CAPAS-DR dual-rotator systems enables independent 360 degree azimuth rotation of two separate payloads, while the CAPAS-RT automatic rotator tilter system provides control of both azimuth and elevation of a single payload. All CAPAS systems can be controlled via the CAN, RS232, RS485 or Ethernet interfaces. The powerful drive system allows for fast positioning of payloads demanding high pointing accuracy. When connected to a supported radio transceiver, the system can optimize the direction from received signal strength or bit error rate within a fraction of a degree. Comrod heavy duty TM and LMT series telescopic masts can be supplied with CAPAS-MC (Mast Control). This allows the mast and alignment system to be networked, enabling full height and positional control over the payload.
Parabolic Dish Antennas – Line Of-Sight (LOS)
Comrod parabolic dish antennas for Line-Of-Sight (LOS) and High-Capacity-Line-Of-Sight (HCLOS) communications. Single polarized antennas available operating over the1350-2690 MHz (Band 3+) frequency band and 4.4-5.0 GHz (Band 4) frequency band. Vertical or horizontal polarization depending on mounting orientation. A dual polarized vertical and horizontal (+/-90°) antenna available operating over the 4.4-5.875 GHz (Band 4) frequency band.
Tactical Communication Tool (TCT)
Integrated Mission Planning
Establishing reliable communications can pose a great challenge, whether on the battlefield or on the site of a natural disaster. TCT (Tactical Communication Tool) allows military and public safety organisations to leverage their communication assets, while dramatically reducing the planning time. TCTs dynamic planning can quickly adapt to changes in operational circumstances, while its sophisticated radio propagation analysis ensures accurate simulation of every communication link. A powerful map engine supports a wide range of geo-spatial formats, including DTED elevation data, vector-based road maps as well as several formats for raster-based maps and satellite imagery.
